After School / Lunch Time Clubs

Lighthouse Trust has had the privilege of being involving in the life of various churches and communities to help support the work amongst children up to the age of twelve. This work has ranged from establishing an after schools club, running a lunchtime club in a school and integrating some of these children into a church youth club.
Case History
Lighthouse initially took responsibility for these projects and gradually integrated local church volunteers in running the clubs - these projects in Pattishall, Astcote and Eastcote, in Lings and Abington in Northampton, have seen good numbers of children and families connected to local churches in the area. They are fully integrated into a local church and continue to play an important role in the community.
 We can offer short term support of between three and six months to help get the project off the ground, help support and train workers so a church can take on the long term responsibility of running the project.
