Project - Citizenship Roadshow

The Project in Primary schools in 2010 was a great success as a team visited 5 schools between the 28th June and the 2nd July - Weston Favell Primary ~ Kislingbury Primary ~ Moulton Primary ~ St Luke's Primary ~ Patishall Primary.

The project used creative writing, art, discussion and drama/role play in three workshops to examine Citizenship and was inrtoduced with an extended assembly using puppets.

The project in secondary schools  used creative writing, composition and performance, discussion, media and drama in four workshops to examine Citizenship at The Duston School and Abbeyfield School.

In both projects, the assemblies and workshops examined the role of pupils in society and how they can make a positive contribution to their own environment and to the world.  

The workshops utilize the following curriclum - RE: looking at Christianity in everyday life (belief and behaviour), PSHE: as outlined above, English: creative writing, poetry, song lyrics, Media: IT and associated skills and Music & Drama: composition and performance.
